As a military service member, veteran, or family member, you are a true hero. At Home Front Military Network (HFMN) we understand that you have given selflessly to our country, often making great sacrifices to serve. We recognize the extraordinary contribution you have made and strive to give back by providing financial assistance, navigation, education and outreach, and information.
We do this by working with partner agencies to provide robust, holistic assistance to address the needs and challenges of this community in the Centennial State.
Here’s how it works:
· Call, email, or contact us via our website, and a case manager will connect with you, conduct a “triage” needs assessment, and help you find the services that are the best fit.
· If you meet our financial assistance criteria, we’ll provide the necessary funding.
· If you require help finding an organization to address complex needs, we’ll connect you with the appropriate partner agency.
· If you need basic information, we’ll point you in the direction of one of our collaborators.
· From there, your case manager will follow alongside you every step of the way!

Navigation
At HFMN, a significant piece of what we do is to help service members, veterans, and their families navigate the plethora of resources that exist. We understand that finding help can feel overwhelming, sometimes even just knowing where to start. If you have multiple or complex needs, we’ll help steer you through the many resources available, helping you identify the most appropriate organization or service. Our support doesn’t end there. Our case managers continue to provide long-term support and customized assistance to meet multiple and complex needs so that you and your family will thrive and meet your goals.
Financial assistance
Even the hardest working people can sometimes encounter unexpected challenges and fall into financial hardship. Illness, economic woes, or other circumstances can make it challenging to make ends meet. At HFMN, in some cases we provide one-time emergency financial support for eligible individuals and their families. The assistance includes help with rent, utilities, and transportation needs on a case-by-case basis. HFMN will asses your situation, needs, and eligibilty, and also connect you with a financial coach, benefits assistance, and other resources to help you get back on your feet and become self-sufficient.
Education and outreach
At HFMN, we conduct monthly partner training covering military and veterans’ culture and best practices. To reach the community, we conduct regular outreach efforts to ensure that service members, veterans, and their families are aware of our organization and understand that we are available and ready to help!
“Before I started attending the workshops, I knew very little about the resources for veterans and their families,” said one HFMN partner agency representative. “By attending, I have met a lot of people that share what they do and in turn, I can share the information…it has been a great collaboration.”
Information and assistance
Lastly, the HFMN case managers provide referral information and assistance for those who have simple or singular needs, such as where to obtain benefits assistance or how to find providers for physical health needs.
