We are so excited to announce that it is AWARD SEASON here at Home Front Military Network! These awards are a very important element of making sure that the Home Front Military Network recognizes and those that go above and beyond to help our veterans throughout the state. Nominations are open now through July 31st for the Joe Henjum “Honoring the Brave ℠” Award and Bob Carlone Community Service Award. These two awards were established to recognize the legacy of both The Home Front Cares and Peak Military Care Network and in honor of THFC co-founders Joe Henjum and Bob Carlone. We are looking to recognize one individual and one organization that consistently work to build relationships within the military/veteran community, are making an exceptional impact in Colorado, are dedicated to helping others, and are inspirationally leading the people and businesses around them. If you know of an individual or business/organization that consistently supports veterans, military members, and their families—including all branches, Reserve and National Guard members.
Home Front Military Network is the merged product of two nonprofit organizations, The Home Front Cares and Peak Military Care Network. With that merger came the legacy of over 15 years of service to our military and veteran community. In recognition of both organizations’ legacies, we carried forward the Joe Henjum “Honoring the Brave ℠” Award and the Bob Carlone Community Service Award. Joe Henjum and Bob Carlone co-founded The Home Front Cares to serve their fellow service members, veterans, and families in Colorado. The “Honoring the Brave ℠” Award and Breakfast event are continued traditions of Peak Military Care Network.
It is with great honor that we continue the legacy of both The Home Front Cares and Peak Military Care Network by awarding a Colorado individual and organization that consistently support our military and veteran community. Recipients of these awards have made an exceptional impact on our military members and their families including active duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Veterans.
