According to the US Census Bureau’s most recent survey data, there are 373,795 veterans living in Colorado with access to hundreds of military and veteran nonprofits throughout the state. The number of resources available to veterans in Colorado is incredible, but it also leaves many individuals lost and confused about where to start. This is why Home Front Military Network exists. As veterans and military spouses, we understand how confusing the systems in place can be, how daunting the process feels, and how difficult it can be to ask for help. This is why when you call Home Front Military Network, you will always be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Our dedicated case managers walk with clients every step of the way and connect them with the resources they desperately need.
Home Front Military Network is grateful for the sacrifices our veterans made to serve our nation, and we strive to give back to our heroes by providing assistance, navigation, and financial support for life’s challenges. With nearly 50 partner agencies, HFMN is able to connect veterans, service members, and their families to a wide range of resources. If you do not know where to start, HFMN can connect you with our trusted partners who can provide support for behavioral health, benefits assistance, education, employment, financial assistance, substance abuse, and so much more throughout the whole state of Colorado.
Call or email us today, and one of our case managers will reach out to conduct a needs assessment to help you find the services that are the best fit. If you meet our financial assistance criteria, we can provide one-time emergency financial support to help with rent, utilities, transportation, etc. If you have complex needs, our case managers will direct you to the appropriate partner agencies and follow alongside you every step of the way!
In 2022, Home Front Military Network was able to assist 5,071 service members, veterans, and their families. Last year, HFMN provided over $294,785 in emergency financial aid and kept 192 vulnerable veteran households from becoming homeless or without other basic necessities.
None of this work would be possible without our amazing community of supporters and donors who fuel the mission of serving those who have given everything to our country. HFMN looks forward to overcoming challenges and celebrating victories with each of you this year.
Home Front Military Network will host three major fundraising events that we invite you and/or your company to participate in 2023.
Our Honoring the Brave Golf Tournament will be held on June 16th, 2023 at Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club at Fort Carson and will be a day filled with friendly competition to raise money for HFMN programs. There will be raffle prizes, fun vendors, and breakfast and lunch will be provided!
If you would rather rock out than spend a day on the course, consider joining us for our Honoring the Brave Benefit Concert on August 11th, 2023 at Boot Barn Hall. HFMN is excited to welcome back the much-anticipated SofaKillers and raise money for service members, veterans, and their families.
Our largest fundraiser of the year is our Honoring the Brave Breakfast, held at The Broadmoor International Center. In 2022, the Honoring the Brave Breakfast raised over $200,000. This event would not be possible without our committed sponsors, and we need your help making September 13th, 2023 a success- consider sponsoring the Breakfast today!
Each of our fundraisers provide a unique opportunity to showcase your business or organization and can serve as excellent advertising or networking event. Additionally, by sponsoring a Home Front Military Network event, you can trust that all proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting military and veteran families!
