Mark your calendar! The 10th Annual Honoring the Brave Golf Tournament is coming up fast! This annual golf scramble is an exciting philanthropic event in Colorado Springs that has sold out the past two years. All proceeds benefit Home Front Military Network (HFMN) and the nonprofit’s initiatives to support military, veterans, and their families throughout Colorado. To ensure the success of this fundraiser, we are seeking businesses to sponsor the event or sponsor a hole.
About the Honoring the Brave Golf Tournament
Who should attend? Golfers who want to support our military and veteran families!
What is this event like? Sitting at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, playing a round at this 18-hole course is a wonderful way to spend the day while raising money for a notable cause! The tournament will include raffle prizes, interactions with vendors, an on-course contest, and a savory breakfast and lunch!
This tournament benefits HFMN’s critical mission to support service members, veterans, and their families by providing emergency financial assistance and connecting them to the many resources available in Colorado, such as legal assistance, employment, housing, and family support services.

Why should I attend the golf tournament? Many military and veteran families in Colorado are at risk for homelessness and need your support. HFMN provides emergency financial assistance grants (not loans) to pay essential life expenses such as rent, utilities, and car repairs.
Those we support are vetted to confirm their military service and financial need, then payments are sent directly to the vendors, such as the landlord or utility company. Additionally, HFMN offers navigation (case-management) support to address the root causes that contribute to the financial crisis so that we can meet the holistic needs of military and veteran families.
Case management services include connection to behavioral and mental health support, assistance navigating benefits, and resources for employment and education opportunities. Last year, HFMN provided approximately $294,785 in emergency financial assistance grants to support service members, veterans, and families:
- 192 vulnerable veteran families with stability through financial bridge assistance to get them back on their feet
- Over 3,800 individuals or families with resource coordination to ensure that they received the mental, emotional, vocational, and financial counseling help they needed.
