The National Guard is the United States’ second largest military force after the U.S. Army. During the Revolutionary War, the U.S. National Guard earned the famous title of ‘Minutemen’ because of how quickly they responded to conflict—the U.S. The National Guard plays a crucial role in our security and has bravely fought in every U.S. war since 1936.
In light of this historic occasion, it’s fitting to recognize the essential role of Home Front Military Network (HFMN) in supporting National Guard service members, veterans, and their families. HFMN goes beyond conventional assistance by offering a holistic approach to the unique challenges of those serving in the National Guard.
HFMN was formed in 2020 due to a merger between Peak Military Care Network and The HomeFront Cares. Today, these two organizations have seamlessly merged to form HFMN, a powerhouse committed to supporting our Colorado military community. As one organization, HFMN connects military service members, veterans, and their families to resources offered by dozens of our community partners and emergency financial assistance.HFMN aids the transition to civilian life by helping service members, veterans, and their families with job placement assistance, skill-building programs, and educational aid. Understanding the crucial importance of stable housing, HFMN also prides itself on extending support to secure safe and supportive environments for veterans, service members, and their families.
HFMN’s dedication aligns with the enduring commitment of the U.S. National Guard. The National Guard’s historical significance showcases centuries of dedicated service and protection.
