Financial challenges often linger in the shadows of military service, affecting not only veterans but also their families. In the United States, according to the Wounded Warrior Project’s most recent annual survey, approximately 64% of veterans grapple with financial hardships. Home Front Military Network (HFMN), in collaboration with more than 50 partner agencies, stands as a beacon of support, offering financial assistance to service members, veterans, and their families in need. Let’s explore how, together, we can pave the way for financial success in 2024.
Beyond the visible bravery displayed in military service, the financial toll can be a persistent burden. With 5.2 million veterans facing financial challenges, HFMN is resolutely committed to addressing and preventing this issue through strategic partnerships and a range of services. In our pursuit of financial support, HFMN forges impactful collaborations with leading agencies.
Arapahoe County Veteran Services is one of our many partners offering critical support in this endeavor. They offer support assistance to veterans in Arapahoe County including helping local veterans and their dependents obtain the federal aid and state benefits to which they are entitled, including disability and pension claims. They also help veterans find community services that can help them overcome any obstacles they may be facing.
Another valuable ally is Operation Homefront, which helps build strong, stable, and secure military families. Its services include relief through critical financial assistance and transitional housing; resiliency through permanent housing and caregiver support services; and recurring family support programs.
Expanding beyond individual sponsorships, HFMN offers a diverse selection of specific financial resources. These resources can be customized to address unique challenges, such as debt relief, housing assistance, and educational grants for veterans transitioning to civilian life.
If you or a loved one needs financial assistance, reach out to HFMN. In unity and support, let’s make 2024 a year of financial triumphs for our military community.
