In the intricate world of support for service members, veterans, and their families, Home Front Military Network (HFMN) stands as a beacon of assistance. Our commitment to empowering those who have served our nation extends beyond our organization. We are privileged to collaborate with more than 50 dedicated partner agencies, each contributing unique expertise to create a comprehensive support network for various needs.
At HFMN, we recognize the profound impact that animals can have on the well-being of individuals facing hardship. Our partnership with Operation Homefront holds a special place in our network.
Operation Homefront helps build strong, stable, and secure military families. Its services include relief through critical financial assistance and transitional housing; resiliency through permanent housing and caregiver support services; and recurring family support programs.
Transitioning to civilian life can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to career changes. Opportunity-Veterans Career Transition Program (OTO-VCTP), one of our esteemed partners, bridges this gap. This free career skills program is designed for post-9/11 veterans, service members, and families. Located near Colorado Springs in Fort Carson or accessible via 11 other locations in the United States, OTO-VCTP offers a pathway to new and improved careers.
Through OTO-VCTP, veterans not only gain industry-validated training and credentials but are also afforded the opportunity for guaranteed interviews with OTO-VCTP’s extensive career network. OTO-VCTP provides connections to over 400 military-friendly employers who understand the unique hurdles the military community faces. This partnership with OTO-VCTP reinforces our commitment to providing comprehensive support, ensuring military members, veterans, and their families have the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in the civilian workforce.
